The Montana Mountains in the spring are like heaven on earth, they come to life with plants of every color, and an abundance of wild life as far as you can see.
Bill Silk and Helen Bennett were married June 22, 1957 on one of those beautiful spring days.
The Silk's are lifetime residents of Butt, where Bill worked until retirement form Butt-Silver Bow County.
Helen was a stay at home mother raising their five children; she now enjoys volunteer work for speed skating, and Our Lady Of The Rockies.
Family and friends honored the Silks with a celebration for their fifty-one years of marriage on June 13, 2008 at the McQueen Club. The evening was a success thanks to friends and family that donated yearbooks, photos, and other memorabilia from the past.
