Tim McGraw had known Faith Hill for a short time when he proposed to her. Tim was asking Faith to marry him just as he was called on stage, not having enough time to hear her answer. Before Faith went on stage herself she wrote her answer on his dressing room mirror.
The McGraw's were married October 6, 1996 in a simple ceremony with a reception following at Tim's aunt's home. Friends and family were in attendance watching as the couple said their vows. Faith wore a stunning designer gown there was only one thing missing her shoes, the bride was barefoot.
Tim and Faith live on a farm in Willimson County, Tennessee with their three daughters Gracie, Maggie, and Audrey.
The whole family travels together on tours when their children are not in school.
Faith said, "marriage is a work in progress you can not sit back and expect everything to flow smoothly, there are always bumps in the road. The couple respect what they have together and understand that a relationship has to be cultivated.

I just wished she gave Tim the courtesy of taking his last name publicly when they married. To me that's disrespectful!! I mean, I know other's don't go by their husbands last name and Tim may be hapy with that, but I jyst don't see how it's right!! Anyhow, this is just my opinion. Love your blog!!
