Clifton Hopcus and Veronica Szymanski were married in the historic St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bremond, Texas on October 4, 1958.
After fifty years of marriage Clifton and Veronica exchanged their vows once again at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hearne, Texas.
A celebration honoring the 50th anniversary of their parents was hosted by the Hopcus children. Friends and family were in attendance music such as "I Got Stung" by Elvis and photo's from the 50's were enjoyed by everyone.
The Hopcus are the proud parents of six children; they also have eleven grandchildren and one step-grandchild.
Clifton is retired from Verson ALL-Steel and Calvert I.S.D.
Veronica is still employed in the banking industry.
The couple enjoy family functions, traveling and staying active in community activities.
