On August 9, 1948 Cyril Headlee took Maerose Farthing to be his bride, at the home of her parents in Shelbyville, Indiana.
A dinner was given in honor the Headlee's 60th wedding anniversary, hosted by their children at the Ponderosa Steakhouse in Greensburg.
Cyril retired after twenty-eight years of service at Brazeway Indiana Inc.
Maerose retired after twenty-seven years of service at T.R.W. Cinch.
The Headlee's are active members of Grace Wesleyan Church where they have been members for 60 years.
The Headlee's have five children, 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
They enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren during family gathering.
