Chub Foreman and Carol Knapp were married August 29, 1958 in Clovis, New Mexico.
A family dinner hosted by their children honoring the Foreman's 50th wedding anniversary was held August 29, 2008.
The couple met while attending the Eastern New Mexico University. Chub graduated with a BS in civil engineering. Carol graduated with an Associate of Arts degree.
The Foreman's moved back to Las Cruces in 1968 to run the Valley Transit Mix Company.
Chub was elected to the New Mexico state senate in 1984 where he spent eight years serving his constituents.
Carol worked for many years as a bookkeeper for the family company while raising their five children.
The Foreman's enjoy family functions and community activities.
Chub and Carol also enjoy traveling and golfing with friends.
