August 24,1958 in Longview Washington Doug Peters and Marjorie Johnson were united in marriage.

A family celebration given at the Skamania Lodge to honor the Peters 50 anniversary was hosted by their children. In place of gifts everyone was ask to bring photos and memorabilia of Doug and Marjorie's 50 years together.

Marjorie is a homemaker and was a stay at home mom raising their children.

Doug is a retired layer from the Yakima area.

The Peters have lived in the Yakima area for 47 years where they are still active in community activities.

Traveling and family actives are among the Peters favorite pass times.
