November 7, 1943 Murray and Eleanor Mullinix were united in marriage.
The Mullinix's children will be hosting a family dinner honoring their parent's 65th wedding anniversary on November 7.
Murray and Eleanor are the proud parents of eight children.
Murray work as a farmer when he and Eleanor were first married, later he worked for the Montgomery School Board from 1963 until 1987.
Eleanor is a housewife and was a stay-at-home mom raising their eight children.
Murray and Eleanor have resided in Mt. Airy since 1973.
