The 70th anniversary of Jessie and Fred Fahnestock was celebrated with their family and friends on March 11, 2008. The couple was married March 11, 1938, in a Methodist Church in Los Angeles, California.
The Fahnestock's have 2 children, Jim Fahnestock of Fallbrook, California, and son Fred Fahnestock Jr. of Grand Junction, Colorado. They have 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Fred retired after 28 years of working for the Defense Department as a contract officer with offices in Pasadena and Santa Ana, California. Jessie worked for clothing companies in the Los Angeles area. They have lived in Fallbrook for 10 years, where they attend the United Methodist Church.
The Fahnestock's have a very active life which includes traveling together.
Jessie, and Fred credit their 70 year relationship to enjoying one another in everything they do. Fred is 94, and Jessie is 88. When you see the couple together the love that they share is so evident in their smiles .
