Paul Monroe Beckner and Bessie Marie Reese Beckner of Walker, W.Va., will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary on April 11.
They were married on April 11, 1953, at the First Church of the Nazarene in Parkersburg, where they are still members. The Rev. H. Harvey Hendershot officiated the ceremony.
Marie a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is a graduate of Parkersburg High School. Being a homemaker and raising their three children brought joy into her life.The Beckner's also have two grandchildren.
Paul is a thoughtful husband, father and grandfather that has never meet a stranger. He is retired from Teamsters Local 175 with 40 years of service at DuPont
The couple will be celebrating their anniversary at a small celebration dinner with their children and grandchildren.
