Newman's Golden Marriage

Paul Newman, and wife Joanne Woodard celebrated their 50th anniversary on January 29th 2008.

While in today's world Hollywood marriages last less then a year, the Newman's marriage has span five decades.

When ask why their marriage has become one of the longest unions in Hollywood, Paul answered that he never strayed, "Why fool around with hamburger when you have steak at home?"

Paul was born on January 26th 1925, in Cleveland,Ohio. Joanne was born February 27th 1930. They were married on January 29th 1958. The couple celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary earlier this year.

The Newman's have three daughters, and Paul has two daughters from his first marriage to Jackie Witte. Their son, Scott, passed away in 1978.
