The Best Is Yet To Be

Family, and friends gathered March 26th to celebrate the 68th wedding anniversary of Rev. Ernest Morrison Sr., and his wife Mildred. The Morrison's were married in 1940 during a candlelight service in Portsmouth Virginia.

After retirement from the Navy in 1953, the Morrison's moved to Oxnard. Mildred worked as a crossing guard supervisor for thirty-three years. Rev. Morrison worked for the U.S. Post Office until retirement.

The Morrison's have four children, five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

Rev. Morrison, and Mildred are active members in their church. They also enjoy family gatherings where many happy memories are being made.

Love of God, and each other has given them many happy moments to share with their friends and family.

Rev. Morrison and Mildred have a verse that seems to sum up their life at this time, Grow old with me, the best is yet to be.
