You Take My Breath Away

Warren and Ruth Roberts were high school sweethearts when he ask her if she would marry him. He thought she was the most beautiful girl in the world, but on their wedding day as she walked down the aisle toward him he said, "She took my breath away." They were married on May 16th, 1948 in Cumberland Iowa

The Robert's family lived in Boulder Colorado for 42 years where Warren ran his furniture business, and was the furniture maker for the University of Colorado. After raising their children, Ruth was a teacher for 21 years.

The Robert's moved to Phoenix Arizona upon their retirement they are active in their church, as well as DAR, and Dust Angels. They have become globe trotters traveling the U.S., and foreign countries.

Warren and Ruth are the parents of three sons, eleven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
