Love In Seattle

Seattle in the spring of 1943 was filled with flowers of every color and young people in love this included Wesley and Rosalene Ratzlaff.

The Ratzlaff's were married May28th, 1943 in Seattle. There were thousands of young people getting married in Seattle before there loved ones were shipped out over seas.

Wesley and Rosalene were one of the lucky couples that made it through the war to make a life together that has lasted for 65 years.

Since they were married the couple lived in several states finally settling in South Hutchinson Kansas.

Wesley retired from Cargill Flour Milling Co., Rosalene retired from Newton Presbyterian Manor.

Hosting a 65th anniversary celebration were their children Mike, and Becky. The couple also has three grandchildren.

The Ratzlaff's are active in their community, and church they also enjoy many family activities.
