Friends and family joined John and Marie Crockett, of Kennewick in a festive gathering celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 20.
The Crockett's were married Dec. 20, 1957, in Montesano, Calif. They have lived with their family in the Tri-City area for 33 years.
Both John and Marie served in the Navy; Marie for 2 years, John served for 22 years.
Marie is a housewife, and was a stay at home mom caring for their children. She has been a member of the Emblem Club for 25 years and is a past president of the Washington State Emblem Club.
After John retired from the Navy he worked for Westinghouse for 14 years retiring in 1993.
The Crockett's are active in their community. They enjoy the time spent with friends and family.
The Crockett children are Robert of Moses Lake, Michael of West Richland and David of West Richland. They also have four grandchildren.
